Cylinder. Small. Taupe.

A small taupe cylinder with a soft matte finish. Sized for a cutting in soil, a herb that wants room to breathe, or a juvenile plant getting started. The proportions are restrained.

The work of the hand. Each cylinder is hand-mixed and demoulded in Cyprus, one at a time. Tonal shifts around the wall, an occasional pinhole, soft edges where the mould met the rim. Not flaws, the fingerprint of the process.

What it holds. Built for cuttings, small herbs, or a juvenile pilea or pothos. Drainage hole at the base. Looks at home on a windowsill or in a small cluster of other vessels.

Cured to keep. Concrete strengthens for weeks after it leaves the mould. Treat it as stone, not ceramic. It will outlast everything else in the room.
